President Trump unveiled the “Indo-Pacific Strategy” during his recent historic visit to Asia. The backdrop for this announcement is the reality that in East Asia, China continues to “explosively” expand militarily and economically while maintaining a communist party dictatorship system. At the same time, North Korea is completely under the rule of an individual dictator stirring up global chaos with nuclear weapons and missiles. However, amidst such circumstances, the Trump Administration was born, the Abe Administration has become prolonged, and the Modi Administration has stabilized, and the conservatives who believe in liberalism are gaining power in democratic countries facing the Pacific and Indian Oceans. In this session, we have invited conservative thinkers from various countries to discuss the possibility of solidarity among conservatives in the entire Indo-Pacific region and the outlook for the future.
