In recent years, biased coverage and “fake news” have become common in both Japan and the U.S., eroding the credibility of the media. However, the existence of a reliable mass media is essential to the formation of public opinion and to the flourishing of freedom and democracy. In this session, we will discuss how to interact with the media and how to use information appropriately.
