Takuma Miyaji is a Japanese elected official. He graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Law. Mr. Miyaji served as Assistant Director of the Secretariat Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications before assuming his current position. He is a third-term member of the House of Representatives of the Liberal Democratic Party and has served as Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications in the Suga Cabinet, and Parliamentary Vice-Minister for the Cabinet Office in the second Kishida Cabinet. His major policy interests include the utilization of cutting-edge technologies and the strengthening of national and regional defense and emergency management capabilities.
