Mr. Kieff is the Fred C. Stevenson Research Professor of Law at The George Washington University Law School. His academic and legal work includes but is not limited to law, economics, and politics of innovation, including entrepreneurship, corporate governance, finance, economic development, trade, and intellectual property. He founded Kieff Strategies LLC where he continues his legal practice. The U.S. Senate voted unanimously to confirm him as Commissioner of the US International Trade Commission in 2013.
