DOZAN11 aka DOZAN MIKI Japanese Signer
In 1996, he made his debut as Michizo Miki. He was one of the driving forces in the early days of Japanese reggae music.
In 2001, “Lifetime Respect” became the first Japanese reggae album to reach No. 1 on Oricon's weekly ranking, selling over 900,000 copies.
In 2002, he retired from singing. In 2002, he retired from singing and began writing and producing under the name “DOZAN.
In 2014, he returned under the name “DOZAN11” and released the album “Japan be Irie! and other songs from the album “Kashikomi Kashikomi” at the Outer Shrine of Ise Jingu, and resumed his singing career.
In 2022, his first published picture book “Riddim-kun to Melody-chan” ranked No.1 in Amazon picture book/children's book ranking.
In 2023, published a music NFT picture book “SPACE SHIP'S CAT Zitto & Gatito” in collaboration with contemporary artist Kenji Yanobe.
Graduated from Digital Hollywood University as a graduate student in 2024. Started “KAGAKU DONATION MATSURI”, dedicating music and science to temples and shrines at Kamo Betsurai (Kamigamo) Shrine, the first shrine in Yamashiro Province, and Manpukuji Temple, the head temple of Ōbaku Sect, together with a doctor of brain science.
General producer of “Sagan Fest,” a festival sponsored by J1's Sagan Tosu.
Art director of the apparel brand “ONZE INITY”.
In recent years, he has been active in music and variety shows.
