Japan Innovation Party International Bureau Director and Member of Japan's House of Representatives. After graduating from university he worked for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) where he worked on reducing poverty in Africa and reconstruction in Afghanistan. Immediately after the adoption of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), he worked as a public information officer at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and shifted the focus of his activities to SDGs and also established a general incorporated association that provides related human resource development and consulting services. During that time, he also studied at Duke University and Harvard University in the U.S. In 2021 he was elected to Japan’s House of Representatives out of Osaka, the heartland for the Japan Innovation Party.
