Shingo Yamashita

Former diplomat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Australia

Born in 1961. After graduating from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Law, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1984.
After studying at Columbia University, he worked in Washington, Hong Kong, Geneva, London, and Canberra.
After serving as Director-General for International Information and Director-General of the Economic Affairs Bureau, he became Ambassador to Australia.
Currently serving as a special advisor to TMI Associates, while developing critical activities.
